Obituary for Lee Langlois

Joseph “Lee” Langlois, age 41, of Belle Plaine, former supervisor, FMI. Park City, and Spirit employee, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020. Lee was born July 12, 1979 to Ray and Mona Langlois at St. Luke’s Hospital in Wellington. He grew up in the Peck/ Mulvane community and was always an avid bird hunter along with his dogs, a hardcore deer bow hunter and “bestest” night crawler catcher; bait castin’; boat drivin’ fisherman. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Jesse; grandparents, Lucien Langlois, Mary Wilson and Harold Reekie. Survivors include his parents, Ray and Mona Langlois; sister, Jennifer Lynn Langlois; niece, Ryleigh Lynn Seachris; grandmother, Luwyna Reekie; niece, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A private family graveside service will be held at Council Hill Cemetery, Peck. A Memorial Mass is being planned at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 525 E Main St, Mulvane. In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with the Lord’s Diner, 520 N Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214, St. Anthony Family Shelter, 256 N Ohio Ave, Wichita, KS 67214 and/or DAV at DAV.org.
