In Loving Memory of Mrs. Joan (Clark) Sorensen

Mrs. Joan (Clark) Sorensen, a beloved great grandmother, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 88. Born on April 11, 1935, Joan brought immense joy and love into the lives of her family and friends throughout her remarkable journey.

Joan was born to loving parents, Fred and Bernice Clark, and grew up in Boyceville, WI. She cherished her childhood years and developed a strong foundation that would shape her into the remarkable woman she became.

On May 14, 1954, Joan exchanged vows of eternal love and devotion with Willis John Sorensen (Bill). They shared a beautiful journey together, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their union was blessed with four wonderful sons, Mark , Brad, Grant and Jerrod, all of whom were the pride and joy of Joan's life.

During her life, Joan's love extended beyond her immediate family, and she touched the lives of her extended family and friends with her kindness, generosity, and gentle nature.

Joan will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her sons; Mark (Lark), Brad (Mindy), Grant (Lori Ann), Jerrod (Annie), grandchildren, Kristin (Jeremy), JD (Brittany),Dustin (Kelly), Abby (Marcus), Logan (Lindsi), Henry, Shelby (Alex), Jake (Krystal), Kate (Jackson), Step grandchildren; Keene (Christin), Kassie (Brett), Kelsey (TJ), Caryn (Spencer), and 28 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her remarkable journey and the impact she had on our lives will take place on June 24th, 2023. 10:00am at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Haysville, KS.

As we bid farewell to our dear Grandma Jo, let us remember her with smiles, laughter, and stories that reflect the beautiful soul she was. Though our hearts ache with her loss, we find solace in the knowledge that she is at peace, forever watching over us, and eternally present in our hearts.
