On Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, Jesse’s soul was freed from the worries and suffering of this world when his Lord and Savior welcomed him home. Jesse Joctam Segovia, 35, was born March 1st, 1988 to Jesus Segovia-Beltran and Hilda (Cruz) Segovia in Granada Hills, California.

Jesse spent much of his life working in the construction and remodeling industry helping families and individuals realize the visions they had for their homes. In his free time, Jesse enjoyed spending time with his son and family as well as maintaining his physical fitness at the gym.


He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Dolores Reyes Cruz & Victor Manuel Cruz along with Alfonso de Jesus Segovia & Rosario Beltran Segovia.

Jesse is survived by his partner and children, Taylor Gutierrez, Alena Melendez & Jaxson Segovia; both of his parents, Jesus & Hilda Segovia; and his brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan & Starla Segovia, and numerous other relatives & friends.

Visitation: Saturday, March 11th, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Smith Mortuary - Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Sunday, March 12th, 2023 at Smith Mortuary - Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
