Obituary for Jamie D'Anne Sanchez
Jamie D’Anne Sanchez, 56, of Derby, KS, was born on April 24th, 1966 in Sedalia, MO.
Jamie worked as a LPN for Derby Family Med Center for over 30 years. She took pride in caring for and helping others. Her ultimate passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed creating delicious meals for her family, traveling and being by the ocean. Her personality and smile was contagious to everyone she met.
Jamie was called to heaven on Sunday, April 24th, 2022, after battling complications from a Bone Marrow Transplant due to a condition called Myelofibrosis.
Jamie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jose Sanchez of Derby; Children Chad (Taylor Clausius) Sanchez, Blake (Ashley) Sanchez, and Brett (Melynda) Sanchez; Grandchildren Evelyn, Cameron and Paisley; Parents Ron and Trudy Julius; Sister Micheline (Bryan) Wilson; Brothers Guy (Lori) Julius and TJ (Lilliana) Julius.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 5-8pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby, KS. A rosary service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 3rd, followed by the funeral at 10:30am, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Derby, KS. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery in Derby, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Be The Match Foundation.
