Obituary for George Smith III

George William Smith III, age 53, of Moline, formerly of Mulvane, former Raytheon employee, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020.  Visitation 1- 8 pm Friday, January 31, funeral service 2 pm Saturday, February 1, both at Smith Mortuary, 501 SE Louis Blvd, Mulvane. George is preceded in death by his father, George W. Smith II; mother, Delores Hockenberry; and sister, Joanne Smith. Survivors include his brothers, John Smith, Augusta, and Joseph Smith,Sr., Newton; sister, Jenny Perkins, Augusta; sister-in-law, Angie Smith, Newton; nephews, Joe Smith and John Perkins (Catherine); nieces, Patricia Smith, Crystal Gibbens (Scot), Jenny Sue Hudon; and several great nieces.  A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
