Obituary for Genevieve L. Bundy
Genevieve Bundy, born in Willowdale, Kansas June of 1932, at 90 years of age went to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 4, 2022.
Genevieve was born to the parents of Edward Pohl and Matilda (Tillie) Pohl.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Dibben, Chyrl DeLay, Carol Creed, Michele Loyd, and Vickey Goben; and sister Mary Tatro and brother Harold Pohl. She was proceeded in death by husband Carl Bundy and daughter Sharon Evans. Genevieve was a loving mother of 6 daughters, grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 12, and great-great-grandmother of 5.
She enjoyed working outside in her gardens and camping in her younger years with her family. Genevieve was very active, had a joyful spirit, and a playful personality throughout her life. She celebrated her 90th birthday with her family in June of 2022. Genevieve will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Genevieve’s body has been donated to the KU School of Medicine.
