Ernest Raymond Rinke, 90, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence. He was born August 30, 1932 in Hartman Arkansas to Herbert and Lucille Rinke.
Ernest, also known as Ernie, Sonny and Arkie retired from Duraform Manufacturing where he was a shop foreman and machinist. He loved traveling around the country in his motorhome for several years. He was an avid water skier, loved going to the lake and spending time with family and friends. He was a quiet man who did more listening than talking and was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings James Rinke, George Rinke, Ronald Rinke, Ralph Rinke, Frank Rinke, David Rinke, Russel Rinke, Wanda Snyder and Linda Buess. He was married to Ruby for 21 years. He is survived by sister Ruth Ann Brown his children Dennis Rinke, Raymond (Linda) Rinke, Larry Rinke; grandchildren Daniel Rinke, Denise (Matt) McWilliams, Mindy Ries, Lisa (Chris) Dumdei, Jennifer Craft, Kristy (Paul) Denison, Jody Rinke, many great grandchildren; many nieces/nephews, best friend Etta Clark and family.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 7th 2023 at Smith Mortuary, Derby Kansas 1415 North Rock Road 67037. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery located at 10102 E. 95th St.S. Derby, Kansas.
