Derby - Mikesell, Duane Eugene 74, passed away Saturday, June 10th, 2023. He was born July 17th, 1948 to James and Lucille (Nelson) Mikesell in Salina, KS.
Duane was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend, he was a computer programmer for Boeing for many years and an Amateur Radio operator/enthusiasts.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Duane is survived by his wife of 52 years Joyce (Hawkins) Mikesell; son: Toney (Michelle) Mikesell of Federal Way, WA; daughter: Carrie Mikesell of Wichita; granddaughter: Dylan Mikesell; sisters: Carolyn Frey of Hutchinson, KS & Tressa (Dave) Morrow of Charlotte, NC; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives & friends.
Visitation: Sunday June 18, from 3pm to 5pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, KS 67037. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Monday, June 19th, 2023 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church 431 S. Woodlawn Blvd. Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
