Obituary for David Wiesner

Wiesner, David Leo, 73, passed away Sunday, August 28th, 2022. He was born July 21st, 1949 to Lawrence Wiesner and Juanita (Pfiefer) Wiesner in Wichita, KS.
Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, he was a proud Vietnam Army Infantry Veteran, an accomplished pianist and retired retail clerk for the US Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Sisters: Elizabeth Lackey and Hope Pierce; father-in-law: Garry Riemann.
David is survived by his Wife of 40 years: Debora A. (Riemann) Wiesner of Derby, KS; Daughters: Aimee (Andrew) Buchan of West Virginia, Angela (Kirk) Ban of Kansas City, MO, Lauren (James Edwards) Wiesner of Wichita, KS; Mother in law- Neva Riemann of Derby, KS; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; Brother: Stephen (Gaylee) Wiesner of Derby, KS; Sisters: Myra (Terry) Bennett of Garden Plain, KS, Karla Copeland of Wichita, KS; Brother-in-law: Douglas (Glenda) Riemann of Wichita, KS; Sister-in-law: Cynthia (Chris) Huffman of Ohio; Step-Mother-in-law, Linda Riemann of Wichita, KS. numerous other relatives & friends.
Visitation: Wednesday, August 31st, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial Service (With Military Honors): 10:00 am, Thursday, September 1st, 2022 both at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Private Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to: Heartland Home Health & Hospice, in lieu of flowers.
