Obituary for Daniel Lee Hayes

In loving memory of Daniel L. Hayes, who passed away suddenly on July 28, 2023. Daniel was a bright light who found joy in music, art, motorcycles, and comic books.
As a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle, he brought love and warmth to his family. He is survived by his parents Michael and Jane Hayes, his sisters Madeline and Katie, and his brother Kyle (Moriel). His grandmothers, Mary Ellen Syron and Sherry Fiedler-Syron and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Jean Hayes, his aunt, Patty Hayes, and his paternal grandfather, Michael Syron.
His sense of humor, infectious laughter, kind and gentle heart, boundless and genuine enthusiasm touched the lives of so many friends as he never met a stranger.
May his spirit of compassion and creativity live on in our memories. Rest in peace, sweet Daniel. You will be deeply missed.
Rosary will be recited Wednesday 7:00 PM, and Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday 2:00 PM, both at Holy Savior Catholic Church, 3000 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, KS 67214, with burial to follow at Kechi Cemetery, Park City, KS.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sedgwick County Zoo Lion Exhibit or Holy Savior Medical Clinic.
