Charles R. "Chuck" McCoy, age 78, of Haysville, retired truck fabrication manager and U.S. Army Veteran, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020. Visitation 1-8 pm Friday, January 10, with family receiving friends 5 - 7 pm, funeral service 1 pm Saturday, January 11, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd., Derby. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary; son, Brandon McCoy (Amber); daughters, Sandra McCoy (Dan Thacker) and Tricia Robello; brothers, John and Darrell McCoy; sister, JoAn McCoy; grandchildren, Amber Crawford (Rob), Ashley Abbas (Chuck), Kassie Strange (James), Whitney
Veazey-Bisco (CoRon); Courtney Veazey, Caleb Robello, Triston McCoy, Trace McCoy and Kaitlyn McCoy; great-grandchildren, Gracyn Crawford, Brooklynn Crawford, Caiden Veazey-Bisco, Damien Cardenas, Payton Abbas, Landon Abbas, Graham Crawford, Liliana Abbas, Malikai Veazey, Khaleesi Veazey, Maddox Crawford, Elizabeth Abbas; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Alan Rash. Chuck was a doting husband, father, and grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. He loved his dogs. His talents were many. His love of antique MGAs filled many of his days.
