I admired your family as well as your precious daughter Brittany and was so thrilled when Brittany and her dad Alex decided to go to treatment together..When I saw the drug free Brittany my heart soared ..and I was so proud of Alex for sticking it out not just only for him ..but also for his daughter..That FaceTime communication between the 2 was so heartwarming..and the reunion between mother and daughter was so moving …
I just was so saddened & shocked at the end of the episode announcing Brittany’s unfortunate passing ..gone way too soon …
My condolences & sympathy to the Howard family & I hope that y’all have found some measure of peace in the years since your daughter & sisters passing ..

Condolence: After watching her story on intervention, I was so excited to see how Brittany's life would turn out. She seemed so excited about the future when she was in the treatment center. It broke my heart when I read that she passed away. I can tell you a lot of people have been touched by her story.
Your family was so supportive and loving, and I believe you did everything you could to help her. Sometimes God has another plan, and although we don't understand it, there is a reason.
Watching how you encouraged the members of your family struggling with addiction instead of putting them down has been inspirational to me. I also have family members who struggle with this awful disease. I wish I could handle it in the way you all did. Sometimes watching a loved one hurting themselves is too much to bare and the feelings of pain for them turn into anger towards them. However, your family never showed that. Brittany's mother was so loving, so supportive, and yet they all still did what they needed to do in order to help her. Her father did not hesitate for an instant to go into treatment himself because he felt it would help his daughter.
Please do not feel guilt, no one is to blame. You are all amazing and are a beautiful family. The way you loved each other was an inspiration to me. I hope that you lean on each other for comfort and continue to be supportive in this tragedy.

I had it recorded & somehow it got deleted yesterday.... min hoping I can get it back at some point... just something about the family it's like I've known u guys all my life... the love, passion moved me beyond belief!!!! So many prayers to this family..... not many days go by that I don't think of her..... I've been there myself... I so get it!!!! I'm clean now... My heart broke when I heard this news. I coached Brittany in volleyball (around the age of 15ish). She was on my Shockwave volleyball team! She had so much spunk and dedication.

I loved coaching her and she holds an even more special spot in my heart!
I remember her coming to practice rather than the emergency room after getting hit with the baseball (I could see the stitches of the ball on her forehead). Of course I sent her on to the emergency room.
