86, died, Monday, May 11, 2020. at her residence in Douglass, KS She was born November 19, 1934 in Fredonia, KS the daughter of Harold and Levada (Schweda) Schneider. On Jan. 22, 1951 she married Thomas (Tom) Overbey and he survives. Tom and Betty owned a dairy farm for many years, Betty did all the milking since her husband Tom went to work.
After selling the dairy farm she went to work at Rose Hill Bank and retired from their after 25 years of service.
She is survived by Husband Tom, sons; Rick Overbey and wife Gail, Brent Overbey and daughter Peggy Hatmaker and husband Mitchel. 4 grandchildren Dustin and Cory Hatmaker, Aaron Overbey, Jennifer Calvert.
3 great grandchildren; Dexter, Deagan, Eoywn, brother Howard Schneider and wife Pat. Visitation: Wednesday, May 13th, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary - Derby.
