Richard L. Suntheimer, age 62, of Douglass, formerly Fredonia, retired Boeing and Spirit employee, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. Richard's family will greet friends 4 - 7 pm Thursday, July 26, with a celebration of his life being held 10 am Friday, July 27, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard and his brother, Charles. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; son, Joe Suntheimer (Laci), of Douglass; daughters, Karen Ferguson (Terry) and Kristy Ferguson, all of Douglass; mother, Betty Suntheimer; brothers, Leonard, Thomas and Robert Sutheimer; sisters, Beverly Kegler and Betsy Behr; grandchildren, Katlin Jurging (Robert Loos), Victoria McClard, Lillianne and Logan Braungardt, Tatom, Mason and Jolie Suntheimer, Mariah and Alexsis Barkus; great-grandchildren, Easton and Beau DeBusk.
