Obituary for Beatrice Brock (Moore)

Brock, Beatrice (Moore) 96, retired aircraft worker from both Beech and Cessna passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Graveside services will be on Saturday, December 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial Services will be at Trinity Baptist in Stigler, OK at 12:00 p.m. on Monday December 18, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty years Judson Jack ‘Jones’ Brock, parents Fred and Lizzie Moore, seven brothers, Homer, Leslie, Harvey, Burley, Hoyt, Elmer, Frankie, five sisters, Lois, Lorene, Henrietta, Pauline and Thelma. She is survived by one sister, Mary Davis of Lincoln Park, MI, three daughters, Geraldine (Larry) Orchard, Maxine (Fred) Ihrig both of Derby, KS and Glenda Schulte of Stigler, OK. Surviving grandchildren include Bret Brandewie, Brock (Lorie) Orchard, Scott (Jen) Brandewie, Amy (Greg) Luce, Lisa (Charles) Spurlock, and Charissa (Steve) Ahlstedt, and twelve great grand children, and one great great grandchild, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Bea was born in Ozone, AR in 1921 but was raised in eastern Kentucky near the small town of Viper. She went to work at Patterson Air Force Base where she met her husband to be. Bea and Judson were married in 1945 and were married for sixty years until his death in 2005. She was a homemaker and an aircraft worker. She loved shopping, cooking, making jellies, gardening (especially flowers) and fishing. She played a mandolin and a banjo and loved making music with her husband, her daughter Glenda, her granddaughter Charissa, and other family members. They played at family gatherings, jam sessions, senior centers, nursing homes, and churches. She loved many people and many people loved her. Though heaven bound, she will be missed by all.
