Condolences

Condolence From: Sue Dohrer
Condolence: Lois is a blessing to my family, friends and myself. She's taught us, through example, not to avoid challenges, but, rather, to run toward change and new experiences, with the abandonment of a child, knowing God is with us very step of the way. She always loved, supported and gently guided us on our journeys', and will continue to do so now. While it's true SOME of us needed her love and guidance more than others, she always gave it unconditionally, along with her time, patience and wisdom. Whenever we would leave her after a guaranteed, feel good visit, she was always standing, waving and smiling! That's how I'll always remember her!! As our official Guardian Angel, I am happy she is smiling and loving every minute of it! It's what she's been reborn to do!!!

Condolence: Great Plains Dulcimer Alliance, was the group through whom I knew Lois. She personified all the good things a woman could be, kind, loving, generous, helpful, a Godly woman.

She will be greatly missed for a very long time.

My sincere condolences to Lois's family and friends.

Condolence: What great memories I have of Mrs. Liggett from grade school until now. She taught so many of us growing up her love of music, passing it through many years of students over the years.
I still have the note she sent me my Sr year after playing Bloody Mary in the play South Pacific. A treasure I will always hold close to my heart.
So glad I was able to reconnect with her after all these years on Facebook. She's definitely one on a million, and so glad she was a part of my life and so many others.
RIP Mrs. Liggett, you definitely earned your angel wings, and I know your are playing music in heaven.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Condolence From: Kerry Hervey
Condolence: Not only was Mrs. Liggett my music teacher, she was my neighbor; two houses down in the Watson Addition. She always brought out the best in music class as she taught us to sing—even the boys! No matter where I saw her she would make sure to speak to me. Mrs. Liggett, thank you for investing in my life! May God comfort you all in this time of grief. Love, Kerry Hervey.
