Jim Timmis, age 83, was welcomed into Heaven on July 5, 2017. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-8 PM; family greeting from 4-6 PM at Smith Mortuary – Mulvane, 501 S.E. Louis Blvd. A celebration of life service will be held Monday, July 10th at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, 305 S. Church St. in Udall. A luncheon will be held at the Community Building in Udall after the burial service at Ninnescah Cemetery. Jim is survived by his wife, Oney; daughters, Terri Kater, Toni (Joel) Eder, Amy (Craig) Banzet; grandchildren, Jim (Jonna) Hopper, Jess (Caroline) Hopper, Jami Doerr, Dr. Jett Eder, Jordan Eder, Jena Eder, Brandi Banzet, Danielle Banzet; great-grandchildren, Lillyan, Lela, Luke, Jace, Aliya, Stella, and Blaze Hopper, Cooper Banzet, Brixton Sisk; sister, Dixie Brewer; nieces, Debbie (Steve) Runcie, Janet (David) Brown, Lori (Allan) Gwyn; and his faithful Lab, Abby. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Goldie Timmis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are with the Udall EMT Responders and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
